On November 11, 2025, the Department of Excellent Engineering Training, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering successfully organized a site visit and career orientation for students of Classes 70 PFIEV.
The delegation included Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu – Head of the Department of Excellent Engineering Training, Ms. Nguyen Thi Truc Quynh – Deputy Head of the Department of Excellent Engineering Training, Dr. Ngo Viet Duc – Head of the PFIEV Transport Infrastructure Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan – Head of the PFIEV Construction Materials Department, MSc. Nguyen Xuan Nghia – Department of Urban Technical Infrastructure Planning, MSc. Tran Thi Bich Van, MSc. Ho Van Tuan and experts from the factory directly shared knowledge and practical experience with students.
Through this field trip, children experience:
- Visiting the architectural work of Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater in Diem village, Hoa Long ward, Bac Ninh city. Here, Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu – Head of the Department of Excellent Engineering Training introduced the unique architecture and structure of the work. The work was inspired by the structure of the communal house roof, not only bringing a unique architectural feature, expressing the breath of the times but also preserving the core of traditional values. The work was honored with the Silver Prize in the category of National Public Architecture for the 15th time.

- Learn about the research, application and production process of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete products with technology and equipment from the Federal Republic of Germany of Viglacera Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Joint Stock Company in Yen Phong Industrial Park. This is a pioneer in the production and distribution of autoclaved aerated concrete bricks, Viglacera autoclaved aerated concrete panels with superior and advanced features: light weight, soundproof, heatproof, noise reduction, environmentally friendly.

- Visit Phat Tich Pagoda, one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam, built during the Ly Dynasty and a spiritual work that has been recognized as a special Historical-Cultural Relic since 1962. The pagoda is located in the south of Lan Kha mountain, Phat Tich commune, Bac Ninh province.

The tour ended successfully, helping K70 PFIEV students have meaningful experiences in the field of Construction Engineering and cultural works. Hopefully, the trip will help them have more strong motivation for the upcoming learning process.
