Signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between BMB & A Company and National University of Civil Engineering, Workshop “Steel structure – future trend”

On December 8, 2020, the Board of Management and Training of Excellent Engineers (PFIEV) of National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) coordinated with BMB & A Joint Stock Company to organize the Signing Ceremony of Cooperation Agreement between National University of Civil Engineering and BMB & A company; awarded scholarships to the PFIEV students and organized the Workshop “Steel Structures – Future Trend”.

Prof. Dr. Bui Hung Cuong – Senior Lecturer in Steel Structure – Department of Wood Steel Works – Faculty of Building and Industrial Construction; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai – Head of PFIEV Urban Engineering; Dr. Nguyen Duc Manh – Head of PFIEV Hydraulic Engineering; Dr.Nguyen Ngoc Lam – Head of PFIEV Building Materials major with teachers, teachers and students of PFIEV.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh – Vice Rector of NUCE shared that the National University of Civil Engineering always focuses on the connection between the University and businesses to create a practical working environment and help students have the opportunity to hone their skills and gain more work experience. The signing of the cooperation agreement today will open up long-term and sustainable cooperation programs that bring many practical benefits to both sides, especially for the training work of the University. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh expressed his high agreement on the cooperation and fully supported the cohesive activities between the National University of Civil Engineering and BMB & A Company.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hosobuchi Taro – Business Development Director of BMB & A Company also expressed his honor when signing a cooperation agreement with National University of Civil Engineering – one of the leading universities in Vietnam in the field of construction. Mr. Hosobuchi Taro shared, in addition to supporting scholarships for the students, BMB & A Company is committed to sharing the company’s experience and technology development, supporting the internship environment, and job placements for students of the school.

National University of Civil Engineering and BMB & A Company signed an agreement with the following contents: Organize an annual scholarship program (continuously for 5 years) for 10 PFIEV students with excellent academic achievements; Organizing conferences, seminars to introduce and discuss with students for the purpose of career guidance and promoting the image of BMB & A closer to students; Committed to long-term cooperation in the fields of research, training and recruitment in order to build and develop strong relationships between the enterprise and the university in many fields.

In order to show concern and share for students with difficult circumstances, overcome difficulties and study well, BMB & A Company has offered 10 scholarships, each worth 5,000,000 VND to the students. The award scholarships mark the beginning of the official cooperation relationship between the two sides.

The program was followed by a Workshop with the theme “Steel Structures – Future Trend”. The conference aims to share experience and working environment of technical staff. This is also an opportunity for career orientation and to find more challenges and job opportunities for students. Experts introduce projects that the company has been implementing so that students have an overview of real projects.
