On January 25, 2026, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering held the acceptance review for the second batch of student scientific research projects in 2025.
During this evaluation round, the PFIEV student groups were assigned to defend their projects before two project evaluation councils. The project evaluation council 1 was chaired by Dr. Luong Ngoc Dung; The project evaluation council 2 was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan.
The project evaluation councils highly appreciated the students’ efforts in conducting research in a serious and systematic manner; many topics clearly demonstrated the ability to access new technologies and problem-solving thinking in a modern engineering approach in the field of construction, approaching international standards.

Following the presentation and review process, the council approved the acceptance results, highly appreciating the students’ research capabilities, and noting many suggestions for improvement so that students can continue to develop scientific publications, further enhance their research based on the research topic, and perfect their scientific research product to a high standard.

The project evaluation activity for student research projects is an opportunity to assess research capabilities and encourage scientific and technological innovation among PFIEV students; it also contributes to improving the quality of high-quality engineering training in line with the integration orientation.
With the results achieved in the two acceptance rounds in 2025, the PFIEV program continues to affirm the close connection between training and research, aiming to meet the demand for highly qualified engineering human resources in the digital transformation era of the construction and infrastructure industry in Vietnam.
