On September 27, 2025, the Department of Excellent Engineering Traning (PFIEV) – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering organized an online First Year Student Parents’ Meeting, Classes 70-PFIEV via Microsoft Teams software to strengthen the connection between the school and family in supporting students’ learning and comprehensive development.
Attending the program were Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu – Head of Department of Excellent Engineering Traning, MSc. Nguyen Thi Truc Quynh – Deputy Head of Department of Excellent Engineering Traning, teachers and more than 70 parents of K70 students – PFIEV.
At the beginning of the program, Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu gave a welcome speech to parents and students, and introduced the teachers attending the program. Next, he introduced the PFIEV training program, an international standard training model with the support of French partners, degrees, training program framework, and output standards.

Following the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Truc Quynh introduced student affairs, homeroom teachers, teachers in charge of training, student affairs, scholarships, studying abroad, internships, volunteer student activities, sports, extracurricular activities; especially emphasizing the awareness of students to participate in studying and training seriously from the beginning to achieve the best learning results.

At the end of the program, there was a time for parents to directly ask questions related to training content, career orientation, learning conditions, learning outcome assessment methods, as well as challenges that students may encounter. The Department of Excellent Engineering Traning directly answered questions and recorded comments from parents.
Overview of the online meeting
The First Year Student Parents’ Meeting of Classes 70 PFIEV was a great success, contributing to building a foundation of close connection between university – family – students. Through that, parents have a better understanding of the Training Program of Excellent Engineers (PFIEV), and accompany their children on the upcoming journey of learning and career development.
