On September 11, 2025, at Hall 14.H2, the Department of Excellent Engineering Training (PFIEV) – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering solemnly organized the First meeting program of K70-PFIEV, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. This is an annual activity to welcome new students, introduce the training program, and create opportunities for exchange between students, lecturers, businesses and alumni so that they can have a clearer overview of the school, the training program they are studying as well as job opportunities after graduation.
Participating in the program, on the business side, there were: Mr. Le Anh Quoc, Director of Dang Son Construction Investment Joint Stock Company – Former student of class 46PFIEV; Mr. Tran Van Hinh, Deputy Director of Pontech International Design Consulting Company – Former student of class 47PFIEV.
On the school side, there were: Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu – Head of the Department of Excellent Engineering Training (PFIEV), MSc. Nguyen Thi Truc Quynh – Deputy Head of the Department, MSc. Bui Quoc Thang – PFIEV Mathematics lecturer, Dr. Ho Sy Ta – in charge of PFIEV Physics, teachers of the PFIEV Training Department and all Classes 70 PFIEV students.
The program opened with performances by PFIEV students for the new students of Classes 70.

Next, Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu – Head of the Department of Excellent Engineering Training gave a welcome speech to the new students of Classes 70 and introduced an overview of the Training Program of Excellent Engineers (PFIEV): International standard training model with the accompaniment of French partners, degrees, training program framework, output standards, learning requirements, many types of scholarships and opportunities to study in France for PFIEV students, tours, internships and extracurricular activities.

Next in the program, MSc. Nguyen Thi Truc Quynh introduced the virtual reality tour model, helping Classes 70 students have a visual and vivid view of the campus of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and the important Departments/Offices that students regularly access.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the awarding ceremony of scholarships to the new students with the best entrance exam results of Classes 70 PFIEV.
Pontech Company awarded 02 scholarships worth 10,000,000 VND to two students:
o Nguyen Tuan Hung, Class 70CLC2, high school exam score: 26.25
o Nguyen Thi Thu Uyen, Class 70CLC1, high school exam score: 26.27

PFIEV Alumni Fund awarded 02 scholarships worth 5,000,000 VND to two students:
o Nguyen Huu Duc, Class 70CLC1, high school exam score: 25.75
o Nguyen Hoang Thu Ngoc, Class 70CLC2, high school exam score: 25.75

The program also provides time for exchanges between students and businesses and PFIEV alumni, thereby helping new students better define their future study and career paths.

The atmosphere in the hall became more exciting with the prize-winning game to learn about the Training Program of Excellent Engineers in Vietnam (PFIEV) and related businesses, bringing joy and connection between teachers and students, between alumni and new students.

At the end of the meeting, all delegates, lecturers and students took souvenir photos together, recording meaningful moments on the first day of the new journey.
The First meeting program of K70-PFIEV is not only an event to welcome new students, but also shows the spirit of solidarity, support, and companionship throughout the learning journey of teachers, businesses, and alumni for new students and furthermore, job opportunities after they graduate.
