On October 14, 2022, the Board of Management and Training of Excellent Engineers held a Farewell ceremony of the university lecture hall of the Class 62, welcomed the new students of Class 67, awarded enterprise and alumni scholarships at the Hall 14.H2 – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
Attending the program, on the side of the guests, there were: Mr. Tran Quoc Khuong – Head of Hanoi branch of BMB&A company; Dr. Ha Minh Duc, Head of PFIEV-HUCE Alumni Liaison Department, and also an Alumni of Class 44 PFIEV; Mr. Nguyen Van Thuong, representative of the leadership of Van Phu Invest Joint Stock Company, and also an alumni of Class 51; Mr. Tran Dai Nghia and Mr. Pham Thanh Dong represent alumni of Class 44 PFIEV.
On the side of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, there were Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu, Head of Board of Management and Training of Excellent Engineers (PFIEV-EGCH); Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Binh Ha, Head of Training Management Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Viet Phuong, Head of Science and Technology Department; Dr. Ho Quoc Khanh, Head of Information and Admissions Department; MSc. Pham Thi Thuy Huong, Deputy Head of the Department of Political Affairs and Student Management; Mr. Bui Quoc Thang, lecturer teaching at the PFIEV program from the first Class so far; head of the majors and students of Class 62 and new students of Class 67 PFIEV.
Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu summed up the graduation result of Class 62 with very positive results:
- Graduation with good grades for a high rate of 69%
- High Quality Diploma accounted for 71%, the highest ever.
- All students of Class 62 PFIEV participating in the defense of the French-Vietnamese Graduation Council met the requirements, of which 67% were rated very well, 33% were rated good.

On this occasion, the PFIEV-EGCH organized to honor the Class 62 students who graduated valedictorian in 4 majors in PFIEV training.

Dr. Nguyen Duc Manh awarded the certificate of commendation for the valedictorian graduation in Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering major to student Dang Quang Minh, Class 62IH
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan awarded the certificate of commendation for the valedictorian graduation in Civil Engineering, Construction Materials major to student Nguyen Cong Hau, Class 62MC
In the last enrollment, the PFIEV-EGCH recruited 95 new students of Class 67 with an average score of 23.6, divided into 2 classes 67CLC1 and 67CLC2. Two students, Dong Thi Mai Duyen, class 67CLC1 and To Ngoc Huy, class 6CLC2 were honored to receive the award for the best entry result in the Class 67, from the Alumni Scholarship Fund.

In the success of PFIEV-EGCH, there have been significant contributions from businesses and alumni who have accompanied the program throughout the years. On this occasion, businesses and alumni awarded scholarships with a total amount of 110 million VND, including:
- Within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between BMB&A company and PFIEV-EGCH, BMB&A company awarded 50 million VND of company scholarships to 10 students of PFIEV classes who had difficult circumstances but overcame difficulties, rise up, have good study results (each scholarship is worth 5 million VND).
Mr. Tran Quoc Khuong and Ms. Chung Thi Quyen, BMB&A Company, awarded scholarships to encourage learning for students of PFIEV classes.
- Alumni of Class 44, the first class of PFIEV, awarded the PFIEV Scholarship Fund with the amount of 30 million VND.

- Van Phu Invest Consulting Joint Stock Company awarded 20 million VND.
- CLAVIS Technology Transfer and Consulting Joint Stock Company awarded 10 million VND.
The PFIEV-EGCH also organized the awarding of certificates of merit and awards of the University and PFIEV-EGCH’s award to groups of students who won the prize of the Scientific Research in the academic year 2021-2022 (the PFIEV-EGCH’s award is extracted from the PFIEV Scholarship Fund).
The ceremony closed with the emotional speech of teacher Bui Quoc Thang, who has been teaching in PFIEV program for the past 24 years, from the early days of its establishment until now. The ceremony left many good impressions, demonstrating the close connection between the school’s training work and businesses, the connection between students and alumni, affirming the spirit of solidarity for the sustainable development PFIEV.
