On the morning of December 3, 2022, at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), a Business Connection Seminar was held to introduce to the 4th and 5th year students the information about the cooperation link between HUCE and Vinaconex Corporation as well as the opportunity to practice and work at the enterprise.
Overview of the seminar program
Attending the program, on behalf of Vinaconex Corporation, there were Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai – Deputy General Director; Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy – Director of Human Resource Development Department; Mr. Lai Duc Toan – Deputy Director of Vinaconex Construction Department; Mr. Phan Tran Anh – Director of PMU 2, Mr. Pham Thanh Hoai – Deputy Director of PMU 1 – Vinaconex Project Management Unit and representatives of Communication and Marketing Department of Vinaconex Corporation. On the side of HUCE, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Binh Ha – Head of Training Management Department; Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu – Head of Board of Management and Training of Excellent Engineers; MSc. Bui Quang Trung – Head of Political Affairs and Student Management Department and the teachers who are heads of PFIEV training majors and the students who attended the program.
The business connection seminar with the goal of promoting training and human resource development towards excellent engineers in the field of construction engineering is an activity within the framework of cooperation activities between HUCE and Vinaconex Corporation. The seminar aims to strengthen cooperation in the training of students associated with practice, and at the same time help students better understand the profession and future orientation clearly.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh – Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering said that the university always focuses on the connection between the university and businesses. In addition to training professional knowledge, cooperating with businesses to create a practical working environment, helping students have the opportunity to improve skills and gain more work experience is also a in the tasks – the central requirement that the university always aims at. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh expressed his delight that the cooperation plan between HUCE and the businesses, especially Vinaconex Corporation, has been increasingly interested, contributing to promoting the teaching and implementation of research projects together; while consolidating and further developing the relationship between the university and the enterprises.

On behalf of the business, Mr. Nguyen Khac Hai – Deputy General Director of Vinaconex Corporation thanked for the careful preparation of the seminar and the sincere welcome of the university for the delegation of the Vinaconex, Mr. Hai shares some information about the Corporation’s recent achievements, and at the same time commit to create the best possible conditions to welcome the university’s students to study, practice and willing to give the opportunity to work long-term at the Vinaconex with worthy positions to demonstrate your ability during the internship.

Following the seminar, the teachers in charge of training programs of the PFIEV Board introduced about the PFIEV program and training majors. At the same time, the Corporation’s representative introduced the typical projects of the Corporation as well as the organizational structure and operating model of Vinaconex Corporation, thereby helping the teachers and students of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering to have a overview and details of the Corporation.
In the lively atmosphere at the seminar, many questions from the participating students were raised, diverse questions about conditions, requirements, and regimes for students to participate in internships and working at the enterprise are all answered by representatives of businesses.
