Awarding ceremony of corporate scholarships and student research-innovation awards in 2023

On December 8, 2023, the Board of Management and Training Excellent Engineers of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) organized a Awarding ceremony of corporate scholarships and student research-innovation awards in 2023 for PFIEV students.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of the scholarship sponsors there were Mr. Hosobuchi Taro – Business Development Director, BMB Steel Jsc; Mr. Tran Quoc Khuong – Director of Hanoi Branch of BMB Steel Jsc; Mr. Nguyen Binh Duong – Director of VIFATEC Company, Deputy of PFIEV Alumni Liaison Committee.

On the side of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, there was Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu – Head of the Management and Training of Excellent Engineers; MSc. Bui Quang Trung – Head of Political Affairs & Student Management Department; Dr. Ho Quoc Khanh – Head of Communications and Admissions Department; Dr. Le Ba Danh – Deputy Head of Science and Technology Department along with PFIEV teachers and specialized heads, alumni and students got high achievements in studying and training, students achieved high achievements in scientific research of the PFIEV Program.

Spoke at the opening ceremony, Dr. Tong Ngoc Tu – Head of Management and Training of Excellent Enginners thanked the businesses that have accompanied the PFIEV Program, not only awarding scholarships but also supporting students with internship opportunities and jobs for students after graduation. He believes that receiving a scholarship is a worthy reward for students, meaning to motivate students to continue striving. He hopes that the students receiving scholarships will make the most effective use of the awarded scholarships and continue to strive for further development in the future.

At the Ceremony, Mr. Hosobuchi Taro – Business Development Director, BMB Steel Jsc shared about construction experiences, areas of activity, and typical projects in recent times of the company. At the same time, Mr. Hosobuchi Taro also shared practical information with students about the labor market and current recruitment needs from businesses so that students can better understand job positions as well as Identify and clearly orient the work in the future.

Following the Program, representatives of businesses awarded business scholarships and the PFIEV Board awarded prizes to the students with high achievements in studying and training of the PFIEV Program.

BMB Steel Jsc. awards 10 scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties to have good academic achievements in 2023 with each scholarship worth 5 million VND

CLAVIS Company awards 01 scholarship to the student with the highest entry score of the Hydraulic Engineering

Representative of the Alumni Liaison Committee presented awards from the PFIEV Alumni Fund to student groups that won the 2023 Student Scientific Research Award

The PFIEV Board awarded prizes to the group of students who won the HUCE-Intech 2022 Startup Innovation Contest

The PFIEV Board awards certificates and prizes for the Concours Pont Maquette 2023 – Bridge model creation competition, an annual traditional competition of the PFIEV Program

Every year, within the framework of the cooperation agreement between the PFIEV Board with the companies, businesses and partners will organize seminars to introduce fields of activity and award scholarships to PFIEV students to encourage the students improve their learning capacity, practice and develop scientific research activities, improving the training quality of the PFIEV Program. At the same time, it is a bridge between students and businesses, introducing real recruitment needs at businesses to students.
