On June 19, 2025, the Department of Excellent Engineering Training coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology to organize the acceptance of PFIEV student scientific research projects, phase 1, 2025, for 09 projects out of a total of 25 research projects of the year. The remaining projects will be accepted in phase 2, expected in December 2025.

The first round of acceptance results included 01 First Prize, 02 Second Prizes and 04 Third Prizes.
Research groups with winning projects can choose a subject with a curriculum close to the content of their research project to propose to the Scientific Council to consider adding bonus points to that subject.
In addition, research groups whose topics have scientific products such as international articles, patents or useful solutions will be considered by the Scientific Council for bonus points in the subject.
The first acceptance session was not only an opportunity for PFIEV students to demonstrate their research capacity, but also an opportunity for them to practice teamwork skills, presentation, critical thinking and approach to specialized scientific research orientation. The Scientific Research Acceptance Council highly appreciated the results achieved, especially the Council proposed 01 research topic to compete for the Ministry of Education and Training Award.
